But MPF been dead since Jan. '10. The 'extension' of it to this Janruary was just the underground renegades sticking together for some hope/fun a little while longer. Hope that it would still pick up more old members and new ones, but mostly just 'fun' because we knew there was gonna be nothing left after it so it was just a glorious after party.

Meh, I didn't really get into MPF reboot, so it's not had any real value to me. But still, it's now lost into the abyss of the web.

Too general doesn't always work (its hard to "market" a forum with no specific purpose) but I'd consider starting a general tech one. So video games would be included, but so would other tech stuff plus have some active general sections.

I'd definitely want to make sure I did it right though. Like I don't think I'd want to even bother with a free host since we had so many problems with the MPF one. So I'd want to make sure there was some interest here before I committed to anything.

I'd be interested.
