I just heard about this. It was terrible. Breaking news.
Apparently the earhquake has killed 214 people since I last checked. Luckly the deaths weren't high because they have very stable buildings. Terrible news indeed. I was watching the news for 3 hours to keep updated on the situation.
I heard on the news that the Japanese were bracing for the aftershock that manifests itself in a tsunami, but the danger didn't arrive.
It's quite sad that our modern world seems to experience so many natural disasters...
