Portal 2 PS3/Xbox 360/PC/Mac (possible spoilers)

Well, I've been playing Portal 2 for maybe 2~3 hours now and it's fantastic.

Controls 5/5
If you've played Portal before, you know that there's not much to be done about controls... you just shoot portals, jump, crouch, and activate switches. :p Portal 2 really adds on to existing controls. They add a zoom feature and remapped some of the controls so that they feel more natural and flow better. Pretty good controls for something that doesn't need many.

Gameplay 5/5
The puzzles in P2 are refreshing and somewhat challenging. In the beginning, you'll go though a few test rooms from Portal, but it's part of the story, everything else is new. There's new gadgets and tools to use to solve the puzzle. The faithful weighted companion cube also returns with some old friends.

Story 3/5
Now, I really don't want to spoil the story too much, but P2 actually has a story compared to Portal. :p You wake up in your test room where a computer voice tells you how to look around and such, really to orient you. Then you fall asleep, and you wake up AFTER the events of Portal. You meet up with GLaDOS after running through the old test rooms in an attempt to escape Aperture Science Labs. Sadly, it does just revert back to Portal's story where you're just doing test rooms.

Characters 4/5
The new characters are pretty good, I like them more than Portal's (There were like 2, right? :p) GLaDOS constantly insults you in various ways, and it quite funny about it and is never serious. Though, there is another character to help you on the way and he's kind of silly and pretty much responsible for the situation you're in now.

Final verdict: 17/20 BUY

While all the versions are identical for the story, the PS3 version has the best version for consoles. PS3 version gets 2 copies of Portal 2, one of the PS3, and a copy for the PC/Mac version of Steam. It can also play with the PC/Mac people, so it really broadens the amount of people (and type) you'll be playing with.
