Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness

This makes my top 3 Gamecube games and top 5 overall. I loved the game. It really is a 3d Pokemon game. I wish Nintendo would give us some kind of sequel (And I don't count Revolution as one.)

I thought the concept of shadow Pokemon was interesting in Coliseum but I really like how it was in XD. It has perfect length and can be entertaining even after you beat/catch Lugia. I'm going to be replaying it during my winter break.

Never had the game, but I could see it as fun, in a way. I may have Revolution, but I can't compare the two between or judge because I never had the game. If I rented it, then perhaps. But the game is old and is for the Nintendo GameCube.

I hated the no wild pokemon thing. It forced me to use pokemon I don't even like and the ones I liked were usually obtained late in the game.

I liked this game. I liked how you didn't need awakenings to wake up your pokemon. You can just use the call command. My team was: Vaporeon, Houndoom, Mightyena, Breloom, Ampharos and Claydol. Not the best team, but it's fine with me.

...and I like how it was made, I wish Battle Revolution was like that. The storyline was great and it was good to see something different than getting 8 badges and go to the league, etc...

If they ever make another 3D game it should have a storyline and not just battles like in BR.

I loved the game when I was into Pokemon a whole crap load. I beat it, yes. And even purified the Shadow Lugia and ported it onto FireRed then Pearl. But now that is no more. The Elekid you get on here from a trade was also sexy.

I sold the game though after I purified Lugia. Thought there was no more need for the game after that.

But now, I couldn't see myself playing this again...

Also, who doesn't make their Eevee a Vaporeon, I mean srsly.

It's the best one.

I did this too. If you make it have good Sp. Attack stats, I'd say that it's the best pokemon in the game.

Vaporeon's health and defense makes it a tank.

I can give you that, but Jolteon has good Sp. Att. and Speed. Flareon has good Attack but no good moves to take advantage of it in this Generation III game.

I always take the original evolutions (Vaporeon, Flareon or Jolteon).

My team: Vaporeon (normally), Houndoom, Salamence, Solrock or Lunatone, Walrein or Glalie(when I take Flareon or Jolteon), Lugia and Zapdos(if I don't take Jolteon).

This game is probably one of the bigger challenges in Pokemon history. The real challenge is getting used to Pokemon you have never used, And taking them to the end of the game.

I NEVER purified Lugia. Too sick looking to kill it!!1!111!

The last time I played this game(Nearly a year ago) my team was:

Jolteon
Ursaring
Houndoom
Tyranitar
Starmie
Salamence(Not really sure though)

and two other pokemon who I can't remember. But I remember Ursaring being fucking beast, and Tyranitar was just pure awesome once it evolved. I got Starmie and Salamence late into the game and Jolteon and Houndoom were the faster pokemon in my team(and the special attackers)
