Announced at the Nintendo Financial Results Briefing (Wednesday, October 28, 2015)! The first smartphone game. A communications application where you can share information with others and start conversations. Release: Thursday, March 17, 2016 (Japan); Thursday, March 31, 2016 (Europe/North America); March 2016 (Australia).

The smartphone application will be released on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at least in Japan! Not sure if it will hit other regions at the same time, but it is very likely.

Miitomo has more than just chatting/messaging - there's mini-games, microtransactions, and even missions (link through My Nintendo) to complete!

Miitomo now has a release date for North America and Europe! It's coming on Thursday, March 31, 2016! The new web design for Nintendo.com and My Nintendo will also be live as well on that day, too!
