This is a very cool soccer Mario game. I like the megastrikes, the abilities, and the items too.
It's quite obvious that MSC violates many real-life soccer rules.

What do you guys think of this game?

I hate this game. The opponents are so cheap! It doesn't feel like soccer anymore. Items are really powerful and impossible to avoid. Megastrikes are really cheap too.

Indeed they are insane, but have you cleared those the normal way? I have, and they're very, very tough. When I cleared them, I felt satisfied.

Those challenges are not that insane. It just shows that you suck at the game. It wasn't that hard that you had to cheat and download a game save.

I preferred the gamecube version since the gameplay was far superior. The new Mega Strikes and the fact that they dumbed down all the sidekicks (Toad is pretty much useless) basically changed the gameplay to pass it back and forth then lob it to your big guy and then he/she kicks it and it's an automatic goal. And the Mega Strikes are so rediculously easy to block so the CPU can only score with sidekick powers. The original was  my favorite game for the Gamecube since everything was done right. It had the right skill level, the sidekicks were actually useful and it didn't rely on gimmicks like this game does.

Yoshi's mission was hard? I beat all of them pretty easily. And what ttwashere said is very true and is why I like the original one better.

Hearing what you guys said, now I feel a bit motivated to try those missions the fair way.

Yea, you should try them, they may take some practice. And for Diddy's you have Dr Bones on your team so you can use his offensive move. And soeajing of that, I find he and Daisy's offensive special a very cheap way to score goals, whenever I play with others I make sure no one picks them so the game stays fair. But Dry Bones is pretty handy in the Striker Cup.
