Forum Update (7/19/09)

[SuperZambezi]

A lot of stuff to talk about here...

SMF 2.0

Due to the recent bot attacks, the Forum has been updated to SMF 2.0 and as a result we lost a few mods.

Arcade

The Arcade is also updated to the newest version so that it supports SMF 2.0. The Arcade games are playable, but the socres DO NOT save. I am trying to get it worked out.

Shoutbox

The old shoutbox was not compatible with the new shoutbox so we have a new one along with a chat system. The Chat System can be accesed between the Calender and Logout buttons and the Shoutbox is in its normal spot.

Themes

The Glacier Summer Theme is currently not compatible but I will see if I can do anything about it. The Default theme will be the Blue theme that will have a lighter color than the old one so it reflects the main site.

Glacier Summer

GS will continue like normal without the daily arcade game, at least until all the arcade errors are fixed. I will put up all the missed arcade games up when it works again.

[Vipsoccermaster]

I understand all of that. I will keep putting in the dates missed for Arcade in the news.

EDIT: Never mind, SZ put up somes news about Arcade that it made a lot more sense.

So for the Arcade...does that mean the old scores were gone too?

No. We still have scores, you just can't save your score after you play a game until further notice. Members still have their own championships.

[Relxhive35]

we still can play arcades?

You can still play the arcade games, but the scores will NOT save until further notice. Basically, play for fun for now.

[kingboo]

Well the shoutbox is different..

New smileys, going down, and a chatbot? But im getting use to this

In a couple of months everything will feel normal and this thing will be normal.

Aww man what's the fun in that JK I can still enjoy them

[Relxhive35]

what happen to the chat?

[yoshi12]

As I know, the old chatbox wouldn't work well with SMF 2.0

[SuperZambezi]

I have it off but Im getting it back on soon though

[topper1]

Will we get to use the Ultimate Profiles again?

[SuperZambezi]

Will we get to use the Ultimate Profiles again?

Not until Ultimate Profles can support the new version of SMF 2.0. Sorry.

I've noticed something...

The menu up the top has nice buttons and work great, but where's the search button?
I assume it's still gone from the icicle hunt?

Probably so no one cheats in the Icicle thing like last time.

After all the icicles are found, like I said earlier.
