Forum Update (5/21/09)

[SuperZambezi]

So I might be doing some of these once in a while to get some info out about things that have happened and will happen.

First off Glacier Summer! The first day is June 5, which is 15 days away. We already have done a recruitment contest and a GS Video Promo contests ends this Saturday! Also, when GS starts, the board will change from a child board to a regular board for the event.

Next off is E3 09. Just like last year, there will be a seperate board for the event. The board will stay for a week or 2 after the event. E3 09 is June 2 - 4.

Arcade Achievements are almost complete with 2 more left. What did you think of the arcade achievments and would you like to see a second one.

What are your thoughts on adding a mod that completely customizes your profile? Some of these things include a photo album, buddies list, comments, my media, and more. There is a demo here : http://jovant.guruserve.com/test-forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1

Leave all your comments and thoughts here. Thanks.

Glacier Summer: The Contest may have been slightly rushed, but at least they've gotten us to do something for the site ^_^. Do we have any other contests before June 5?

E3: No comment, sorry v_v

Arcade Achievements: They give us some incentive to challenge existing highscores, etc. It's definitely worth having a second round. (Though, if there's going to be a new arcade game every day(?) during Glacier Summer, there's not much point)

Profile Mod: Possible, would suit Luigi4160/Chef the most. If this goes ahead, should have sections devoted to Mario Party as well.

I'm in for this. We would like to customize our profiles. It would attract more members so let's give it a shot. And I thought the E3 09 starts on June 1, not June 2...

And the arcade achievements, keep them going. It inspires the members to do their best and challenge themselves to unlock a certain objective.

Glacier Summer: Wow it's already getting close. Will there be another Pre Round?

E3: Man already?! Man time flies.

Arcade: Yep there are some Experts. But the remaining ones might take some time though.

Mod: Kinda Interesting. Seeing cool pictures.

Glacier Summer: We could have another pre-contest. It has to invovle getting attention made towards Glacier Summer or the forum. Any suggestions?

Arcade: So there should be another but not during Glacier Summer.

Mod: Ill wait for a few more comments before deciding if its a yes or no.

GS: Awesome but yeah like HJ said, it does seems a bit rushed.
E3: Just make ONE board for it please >.>
Arcade Achievement: Keep them coming.
The Rest: Go for it.

Glacier Summer: This will make SMPSF more fun!
E3 2009: Wow, time sure flies really quickly...
Arcade Achievements: Although, I don't go to the SMPSF arcade so often, it's a very good addition to SMPSF.
Profile Mod: It makes profiles much more better. But I'm not sure about it...
