Final Mario Party 9 Box-Art?

I understand that the box-art may not be clear. The artwork kind of seems legit, but we don't know if it's truly final or not. And I can't help the fact that I see BIRDO on there, next to Yoshi on the right side. Could this mean Birdo is really playable or have a role in Mario Party 9?

The art style kinda looks bad, so I'm suspecting this is a mock up designed to fit with the colors of the logo

Also why woulf anything overlap the top Wii border frame?

It is an interesting box-art, I like it, but.....Birdo? Really??
I would prefer Dry Bones or Hammer Bro to be playable.

The boxart doesn't really make much sense, in my opinion.  It's clean and all...

The art style looks like Super Mario Galaxy style.  (Like the white shadows/highlights).  However, the gameplay (from what I have seen) looks like New Super Mario Brothers Wii style in general boards.  (There are some SMG-like stages in the game..  so maybe this game will be a mix of the styles?)

I do like the Rainbow-like Logo.

From what I can see in the image..  I can see Birdo and other characters.  I really do hope Toadette and a few other characters are in.  (Except for Blooper.  Keep him out please.)  Looks like Bowser Jr is in it, so no Koopa Kid.  Waluigi and Daisy is in the Box art, too.

There is one thing we kind of overlooked about this box-art. Notice how there is no blue circle with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Could that mean that this Mario Party does not have online at all?

Would you consider ND Cube is making a mistake about this opportunity?

Awww.. You're right. That is very disappointing.. but kind of expected.

Also, Daisy is riding a dolphin.

i can't really see anything in that box-art but i do notice their's no wi-fi symbol which means no online and where's all the characters that are playable?

Looks like their won't be a classic mode...or online...I hope ND cube and nintendo aren't making a mistake...on the bright side if this game is a huge mistake then mario party 10 should be good

Yeah it sucks that there might not be online but in consolation Daisy is riding a dolphin.

I see the Power Star in the artbox. BUT I WANT TO COLLECT COINS AND STARS AGAIN!!! Oh, the dice block looks pretty in yellow and white. Too bad it's not 1-10 anymore. That's a shame. And Nintendo, bring back Eric Newsome or Scott Burns to do Bowser, and bring back Bowser Mini-Games for god's sake! I'm also sad that the DK space is nowhere to be seen, and there are no Red Spaces either.

Birdo is such a useless character. I wish it was an abanadoned character.

Toadette should replace it altogether. By the way, they usually don't show unlockable characters on a boxart (she might be unlockable once more.)
