Minnesota gets really F***ing cold in the winter though, I'd hate to deal with that.
I love cold

I lived in Russia, our winters make Minnesota seem like Puerto Rico
Where exactly in Russia?
North of China, east of Poland, Belarus, Finland, and Ukraine

The southernmost point of Russia is located at the latitude of New Jersey

I misread it by accident

Pretty much any part of Russia north of Rostov-na-Donu and Samara will get cruel winters. Siberia gets hit especially hard, in the northernmost parts, -50 degrees Fahrenheit is quite a normal occurrence

47th parallel.

That's on par with Ontario and Minnesota.

Where did you get that?

Sochi is the most southern major city of Russia, and it's on Latitude 43

It PASSES through Russia, it's not the most southern point

Looks like I far fetched comparing it with New Jersey, southern Russia is about at the same level as Milwaukee

I love Illinois since it's very beautiful here, clean, and people are very pleasant. I mostly love the geography, wildlife, and the cities. We even have windmill farms like California. :p I hate New York.
