That's something we have to investigate in the theme styles. FWIW, it could be something in the default (SMF Curve) theme that's overriding settings in Legacy Red.

It doesn't help that certain text shares the same color/colour.

It might just be a CPU problem. Have you tried restarting it?

I'm now using regular IE and it still is slower than slow. I already reseted my computer too.

Then maybe it's your internet provider or modem. MPL is not the problem.
