There's good music in every genre. To say you hate all of one genre or its s*** or whatever just says to me "I'm an idiot with a closed mind".

And I don't think I've listened to the original Fleetwood Mac version of Landslide, but I like the Dixie Chicks version a lot.
For real, like I may dislike a genre, like jazz cause it just doesn't appeal to me, but for me to say that it sucks is closed minded. I mean if someone gave me a CD of 20 really good jazz songs, I'll like at least 5 or more just cause.

Even those weird Gregorian chants actually sound kinda cool sometimes. idk why but my mom likes those and bought a CD and played it one day. :p And she listens to radio music too so I was like "waah?"

I found the Chant album in my dads CDs once. Along with Helen Reddy and the Sound of Music Sountrack, as well as Meat Loaf. I don't remember how many times I called him a fag =P

Every single track of country I cannot stand. It's because every style of country tracks is the same damn thing. Same twangy sound, same redneck BS, same tempos, etc. At least with a genre like Rock or Pop, it expands it's music to various styles and various instruments. Country doesn't do that and instead is totally repetitive.

Except what you just said is false and is just as bad as someone saying all rap or rock music is the same. Just makes you look narrow minded.

...Except rock has various genres and styles that can be easily differentiated. I think the only country genre i've heard so far are country pop and country rock.

This album apparently got the second highest score on Metacritic for a new release behind Brian Wilson's "SMiLE".

Country, metal, emo and screamo are all genres I automatically think that every song sounds exactly the same when I know that's not true. :p

But that's mostly due to lack of exposure if anything.
Same here, like I listen to a Country music then to another and I just have the feeling it's the same...

It's not though, I listen to country and screamo (weird mix I know :p ) They sound nothing alike at all.

...I'm not saying that Country is the same thing to Screamo. :p

I'm saying that Country MUSIC in general has the same repetitive styles and tunes that don't progress further.
