Do You Ever Leave Lights On In Your House When You're Away From Home?

We do all the time. My mom says it's a way of decreasing the chances of robbers trying to rob our house or something like that.

Not sure how it helps, but I guess because they'd think the people are still in the house? No clue. But we usually do this only at night, as doing it in the day time would be rather, well, ugh...pointless.

No. We don't waste electricity. The area I'm in is pretty much on neighborhood watch, so we're good. Also, we have an alarm system that we use whenever we're gone for a while. However, we leave one lamp (cover-less) on all week in the living room while we go to Lake Tahoe. That's the only light on while away, any other light in the house is off. The living room is directly above the garage and can be seen from outside because there's a door that leads to that room from a very small patio right above the garage door.

If my dad pisses me off one night, i'll just leave the shit on so he can pay more.

I'm so evil.
