I don't clean the controllers, I just don't see the point to do so. But perhaps I should once in a while...

Sometimes when the Controller really gets Dirty.
The only controller I bother to clean is my Wiimote/Nunchuk. Dirt deposits when I play for a while (30mins plus), so i wipe it off.
Sometimes when dust start to pile up
I clean my Wiimote and Nunchuk only when I see finger prints on them...

i sort of do because if you hold it in the same place for a really long time i sweat and my hands have always a bit of dirt or dust one them and there's sometimes a bit of mud on them...but there's sometime heaps if i play a racing game on a really hot computer. :-X
I only clean it after I finish eating something while playing and the stuff gets on the controller so it's clean and nothing gets damaged.
I've never once cleaned them. Never really saw the point...
