Announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct (Sunday, May 31, 2015)! A 2D platforming Chibi-Robo game with amiibo compatibility. Exclusive to Nintendo 3DS. Release: Thursday, October 8, 2015 (Japan), Friday, October 9, 2015 (North America), Friday, November 6, 2015 (Europe), Saturday, November 7, 2015 (Australia).

A new Chibi-Robo game, without use of AR and photos was announced.
It'll be a 2D platformer and will use the Chibi-Robo amiibo.

This looks interesting. It's a break from the traditional gameplay style, but I'm curious to see what other techniques and abilities will come into play.

The amiibo is confirmed to be only available in a pack with the game (Like MP10 and the Mario Amiibo (although it's not exclusive to the pack anymore)) Which also confirms that the game will be available in physical form (DUH!)

Amiibo functionality for this game is now explained here. Pokemon figures (Pikachu, Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Lucario, and Greninja) and the third-parties (Pac-Man, Sonic, Mega Man, and Ryu) will not work.

Luma Party, you know the drill for the first post. Dates have been announced. October 8 for Japan, October 9 for North America, and November 2015 for Europe/Australia.

Europe gets it on Friday, November 6, 2015. Australia gets it on Saturday, November 7, 2015. The game alone is 29.99, but with the amiibo bundle (bundle only way to get amiibo) will run you $39.99.

October 8 is a Thursday. October 9 is a Friday. This is for 2015, of course. Luma Party knows what to do, since I cannot.
