Article Says More Characters

It says in story mode you have to face bowsers minions; boo, drybones, koopakid, birdo, koopa, shyguy, hammerbro, blooper. Than it says "They are also playable characters. " Is that only talking about shyguy koopa and birdo or the whole group? We have to wait to find out.

EDIT: I was just reading the rest of the article and it says "With 8 bowser minions to choose from"

Hmmm...

There hasn't been any indication of how those minions/unlockable? playables would be faced, BUT I guess there could be a way to confront them either via Hammer Space or other story-related event.

I read the article, and yeah baby they told something about the characters.
So there is a little chance they return.
BUT, that they are also playable characters, that sentence makes me nervous.
DO they mean shy guy and koopa or the whole gang?
I think we just have to wait.

Now if this is true, it'll make the game better. Since they introduced Boo & Dry Bones, Mario Party has been better in some way, probably only the character roster, but still. If it isn't, then it'll just be a shame...

Very doubtful of this preview. They took all my bullet points from my ONM Review article and pretty much put it into paragraph form. Then they took the "Bowser's minions" part and put together a list that contained all the past playable characters that were enemies. You would think Kamek would be part of the list.

To bad I dislike most of those characters or I would be exited. I love Birdo, Kid, and Boo the others I could go without but it is still nice to see they made it back in I guess.

Yeah. SZ linked me this article on Steam. It would be so awesome if it is true, but I really doubt it really is true. If you ask me or SZ, it's crazy at the moment.

Yeah, unfortunately. Maybe they will only be playable for a short time, or possibly a different mode has additional playable characters.

If I'll be honest, I think they mean that they're 12 characters you start with and you can open more characters later in story mode. Not 100% sure...

From what I've read I'm assuming you probably just start with 8 and then unlock Shy Guy, Koopa, Birdo, and the unknown 12th character.

It'd be weird to see Birdo needed to be unlocked first, but regardless, if this is true, then we'll see the most characters required to be unlocked than any other Mario Party.

For some odd reason I'm thinking they could do a MK7 re characters and choose the original 5 only to begin with :S

Though I think Cook's suggestion of 8 charas (DS roster) to start with makes more sense
