31 Days of Favorite Pokémon from Luigifan

Baby Pokémon
Happiny

This was a tough one as Happiny is in stiff competition for my favorite Pokémon of all time , but I decided to put it here for the sake of simplicity. Happiny is a prevolution of Chansey, a Pokemon known for its high HP which gives a good impression. It's also got comical super strength in the anime. The Happiny action figure Happy Meal toy are gems in my collection, interestingly giving the little pink creature a dreamy, star-filled cloud motif on the stand, a treat for fans of Kirby's Dreamland of which I am huge.

Mega Evolution
Mega Kangaskhan

Kangaskhan is one of those Pokémon who have a sentimental place in my heart because I grew up with one back in the days of my Leaf Green journey, plus I love how it had that little baby watching it fight all the time; now it gets to participate in the action itself along with its powered-up parent. Their new signature ability, Parental Bond, has to be one of the best concepts I've wanted for a Pokémon to be able to have, even if it's specific to one pair. I just hope I don't run into them.

Favorite Legendary
Celebi

The Time Travel Pokémon sure is a sweetheart and I can't help of thinking about it without images of Kokiri Forest and Saria in Ocarina of Time, and like her, Celebi is innocent. A pink one also plays a key role in the second generation of Mystery Dungeon games where it saves the heroes from certain death.

Favorite Starter
(Excluding Oshawott and Fennekin)
Chikorita

The only starter to have been on my journey twice Leaf Blades its way into the challenge! Chikorita seems to be one of those Pokémon who always get pushed away by Trainers, but like I always say, "Any Pokémon can be worthwhile with some love. When it evolved, my Meganium became essential to finally taking down my over-bearing arch-enemy, Lance.
