2010 Hurricane Seasons (Bonnie dissipates in the Gulf of Mexico)

Well it's that time again. Hurricane Season is coming and it's time for another topic of next season. This will be a discussion for two basins. Atlantic which starts June 1st and East Pacific which starts May 15th. While we wait, make your predictions on how many storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher) there will be for each basin. Predictions will close on June 1st.

I predict this season to be much more active than last year. 16 name storms with 8 hurricanes and 4 major in the Atlantic. 15 names storms, 7 hurricanes and 3 major ones in the East Pacific

Tropical Storm Agatha: 45 mph
Tropical Depression Two-E: 30 mph
Tropical Storm Blas: 65 mph
Hurricane Celia: 160 mph (Category 5)
Hurricane Darby: 120 mph (Category 3)
Tropical Derpession Six-E: 35 mph
 
Hurricane Season 2010 begins tomorrow June 1st and goes all the way to November 30th. Both NOAA and Colorado State predict an above average season with up to 6 or 7 possible major Hurricanes. Here are the names:

Hurricane Highlights:

Celia may strengthen a bit more while it poses no threat to any land masses.
Tropical Depression 5-E just formed off the southeast coast of Mexico. The storm shows it might develop in a Tropical Storm.

Meantime for the Atlantic, Within the Carribbean Sea a storm can possibly develop into a Tropical Depression.
The storm will cause some heavy rainfall to Lands surrounding Haiti and Haiti itself..

Poses no threat to land. Only a sailor. =P

Meantime the tropical wave in the Carribbean is still being watched. Chances are now 60% that it'll become a TD. The storm have organized more since yesterday.
