I found out that some members here are a bit curious with my obsession with the Pokemon games which kept me away from this forum...
So here's a bit short story about it. You may think it's more like an explanation than a story though.

My obsession with the Pokemon series started around January 2010. One day, I was staring at my collection of DS games, one of them is Pokemon Diamond. I remembered I got the game not long after I got my DS in mid-2009. That day, I tried playing the game, but still in the 2nd town in the game (Sandgem Town) and I only have a Piplup and a Shinx, but then I felt the game didn’t feel as good as Pokemon Sapphire that I used to play in 2006. So I just keep playing Mario games on my DS.
But as I repetitively play Mario games, I became bored with it. So around early 2010 I pulled Pokemon Diamond out of my drawer full of DS and Wii games and decide to give it a second try. I decided to start a new save but with the same name, I picked Piplup as my starter again. Now I realized, I like the game because I have gotten used to it. Besides, each time a new generation of Pokemon is introduced, probably not many people won’t like it at the first glance, but once get used to the new series, they will start to like it.
This time I played it until I reached the first city with the gym leader, Oreburgh City. With Piplup, which is a water-type pokemon, I beat Roark in no time. Since I beat Roark, I become eager to beat the game and so I spent more time on my Pokemon Diamond, making me less active in SMPSF. As I progress further in Diamond, I spent more and more of my spare time to play the game. I still login to SMPSF but maybe only once in a week. Then I get another Pokemon game, the new mystery dungeon series, which is Explorers of Time. My obsession switched to this game, even though I haven’t completed Pokemon Diamond.
My climax of inactivity, that is leaving the forum for about 2 months without telling anyone in the forum, is a result of playing Pokemon Platinum, the successor of Diamond, and Explorers of Sky, the successor of Explorers of Time and Darkness. I finally realized that I was obsessed with the series because I search pictures of Pokemon in various sites, finding info about a specific Pokemon in Bulbapedia, watching old Pokemon anime in some video-hosting websites, and even created a program in the C++ language for calculations of game mechanics of the Pokemon games.
One time, after months of playing Platinum and Sky (and forgetting this forum), I was browsing the internet, and I remembered it’s been a long time I haven’t login to this forum. I noticed something when I was viewing the forum, I’m no longer a Global Moderator, and there are new staffs too. I’m sure I was demodded because of my inactivity, but that didn’t let me down. About 2 or 3 days after I checked the forum, I finally logged into the forum, and if I remember correctly, I was the only member who is online during that time. There’s about 2 PMs asking the reason why I was gone. I don’t make an “I’m back” topic on the Intro/Goodbye Board because... I simply don’t want to make one. Then I let VSM (or VIP) to be the first person to know I’m back by sending him a PM.
After the day VSM noticed I was back, I become active again on the forum, although not as active as the early times on the forum. And from that day, I started posting as usual. Because I’m now a regular member of the forum, I feel like it’s like the time I joined SMPSF I (before the excessive hacking), when I’m just a new member. But I’m not disappointed with the fact that I was demodded from my Global Moderator. Back then, I was a moderator of the Mario Party 8 & DS Board, then the 2 Video Games board, and my biggest responsibility was when I was a Global Moderator. Well, it feels like going back to square 1 now, but I’m happy I can get in touch with the forum now.
