Hi everybody! I'm back! I'm gonna be doing a huge event soon, (with 8 or 9 players, it depends) but I'm going to allow people to get small but noticeable advantages before the game starts, with bonus games!
Point system for round 1

1.5x Multiplier! (Rounded up)
1st place: 150 XP
2nd place: 113 XP
3rd place: 75 XP
4th place: 38 XP
5th place: 15 XP
6th place: 8 XP
7th place: 3 XP
8th or lower: 2 XP (hey, it's better than nothing!)

Ah, but what's the game, you ask?
I'll tell you this 1-week game:  Power-up Pictures!
In this game, you must recreate a classic power-up in a newer style, or vice versa (you must include pictures for both)
Please, create your own work, I have looked through Fantendo a lot.
I will not give you any credit for stealing work.
This is an example of how to do it:

In (game style it was in, like SMB, SMB3, SMW, etc.) style
(Picture f the new style power-up here)
In (game style) style
You will have 1 week (i.e until about 4:45 Tuesday next week)
After that, I will judge and give the Top 7 their places (if you stole another persons work, I will say 0 points for you - if your name is not mentioned, but you entered, you got in 8th or lower and got 2 points.)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: Anyone can play, even if you're not sure you can do the final game. This game is for fun.
And Accj, you can use any picture editing program to make these pictures. Just make it look good, as I will be judging them.

Unfortunately I don't think I can do this because I've ordered photoshop but it hasn't come yet, and it's the only decent image editing software I have. (or in this case, am going to have.)

It's fine if you make a, say... NSMBU power-up like the Super Acorn or the Propeller Mushroom into a 8-bit or 16-bit sprite (Paint will work fine in most cases)

Alright, I've made my power-up. Do I post it here? Also, can I save the picture as an attachment, or do I have to upload it using a program like imgur?

I will post the results at the end, I know a lot of people will join this and I don't want to type that many names. I already have to type a lot of names anyways, (1st - 7th place + whoever stole Power-ups) so I won't want to type more than I want to.

...wow, this isn't getting as many people doing it as I thought there would be. GrandStarGalaxy, you may end up being the only one to get points this round. (You would get the first place prize by default assuming no one else does this)

BossBlitz88 - You just do this for fun. These events are fairly small and I wanted them to be open to everyone, so I didn't see the need to add a sign-up topic.

Oh uh... sorry. I don't know if I made this clear, but you were supposed to send it in the topic, not as a PM. Plus, I think I deleted my PMs and I didn't look at all of them.

And due partially to some confusion, GrandStarGalaxy earns 1st place by default. (+150 XP!) Sorry Bowser498, I never actually saw your power-up, but...

I'll make an exception due to the confusion and lack of participants. 2nd Place (+ 113 XP!)
Next challenge I'll make things more clear.
