Mario Party 9 will be receiving materials from Hudson Mario Party installments, such as:
Mario Party 4-8 models replacing the Mario Party 9 models, new animations that are based off the Hudson Mario Party installments, etc.

I think that's a cool thing to show off what's possible with Mario Party hacking, but I'm not sure what the benefits are. Aren't the animations and character models from MP9 better than the Hudson ones?

As many people I work with said, the Hudson models are much more high poly than the Nd cube ones, you can go on a website called Models Resource and surely you'll see a major difference.
