No, Hammer Bro should stay and Blooper is out because Blooper is a sea creature, how come he floats in the air anyway? Boo can float because he's a ghost, but Blooper isn't. How come a sea creature can float on land? He should just stay underwater.

Boos do survive in light, especially in Mario spin-offs.
But I think Boo still survive light in Mario platformer games like SM64, there are Boos in the castle's backyard which has a way too Big Boo's Haunt.
