HM & TM

You know these moves you can use after beating a gym leader. So talk about it.

I just think they're annoying, I hate half of them. I hate; Rock Smash, Cut, Flash I'm sure there was another one... and I like; Surf, Waterfall, Rock Climb, Strenght and Fly.

I use TMs a lot, sometimes I'll give a water move to a grass type pokemon or thing like that.

I like TMs so much better. The only HMs I do like are Surf, Fly, Strength and Waterfall.

I think the other one you'd be talking about was Whirlpool. and flash wasn't a HM after Generation 3. The only HM's I liked were Surf, Waterfall and Fly. I just get an HM slave for those crappy HM's like Whirlpool and Cut. and TMs are definitely better. Even though you can only use it once(except in Pokemon Black and White), it's worth teaching it. But I hate how some of the good TMs like Flamethrower or Ice Beam are only able to be found at the game corner. And if I get a crappy TM, I just sell it.

Particularly this. But I gotta have another Pokemon to use the HMs, it's annoying sometimes because they're there to get in your way.

Usually try to give HMs to PKMN who could use them (though I screwed up with my Clefairy using Flash x_x).

TMs only where they suit. i.e. uncommonly. I should use more tho since they are pretty damn awesome (e.g. I want to use Dream Eater on my Drowzee... 0

I really enjoy that. I actually taught most of my Pokemon Return right now

Surf and Fly are the only two really good ones.

This. My flying type will always eventually know that. I only use water pokemon if they have good SP attack so I enjoy Surf.

But yea, I hardly ever use TMs (just because I never go buying for them other than Thunder for beginning Pokes) but it really isn't worth it for TMs in general  because the ones you just find tend to be "weak" and the ones from the gym leaders tend to be not worth it assuming you have a decent pokemon that defeated his team in the first place

HMs are meant for HM slaves. I dislike having to have those weak moves now in comparison to the older games (or maybe I never payed attention to the stats for the older games) but the HMs have good consistency/accuracy rates, but weak power.

Thank goodness. It's kinda dumb to have them permanent if you can teach them to multiple PKMN anyway.

Lol, obviously the purpose of the TM Flash is to light up dark rooms. Just use it on an HM slave like everyone else.

I wasn't a fan of HM's at all. TM's were my favorite; they have a variety of moves to teach pokemon and they aren't the same darn thing in every game, even though their numbers might change.

I've tried this before, and this is not true. You can take it to the Move Deleter and get rid of them, but that isn't new.
