If you haven't heard of this case, well then you've been living under a rock for 3 years and I'm not gonna explain it to you. Look it up.

But yeah, this is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. She should have gotten the death penalty, not she'll walk free. Our justice system is so fucked up. Although I'm sure her life from here on out will suck because in the court of public opinion she's guilty. She'll probably never be able to get a job or anything.
 
What a miscarriage of justice.
She was found guilty of the 4 counts of Providing False Info to Law Enforcement, but she'll probably just get Time Served for that. And if if she does get jail time she won't spend a lot of time there. Why do I get the feeling some vigilante will kill her on the street?
 
Yeah I'm always split on life & the death penalty.

I found how her lawyers responded to the press to be ridiculous. They blamed the media for the first half of their little speech & only towards the end were they like "Oh, and its so sad that Caylee is dead".

I really wonder what will happen with her family now. She accused her own father and brother of molestation. Even if they believe she didn't murder her daughter (although I think they do) are they really going to be there for her after those accusations?

To me it's just about "what will fuck this person over the most?" lol. I don't really think there's anything wrong with killing someone who did heinous things (if its a solid case), I just want the person to be punished to the max. And I guess yeah, life in prison would be much worse. The death penalty would mostly just hurt the person's family.
 
Yeah, it was all about reasonable doubt. They didn't have enough forensics to eliminate that unfortunately. Its not the jury's fault really though. They had to go by what was presented in court and some of the stuff that came out in the media, they couldn't even consider in their final verdict.

Seriously? lol I can understand maybe thinking she acted with help but there's no way in hell she isn't guilty. Innocent people don't lie about where their kid is or who she's with. And they don't look up how to snap necks online or have cars that smell like a dead body or go out and party when their kid is missing. I'm generally wary of just saying someone definitely did something, but she did not react in the way an innocent, rational person would react to the disappearance of their daughter.

And it makes a lot of sense that the dad would cheat. I'm sure it was a stressful time & if he didn't feel like his wife was there for him, he might have sought support elsewhere. That's why a lot of people cheat.

I'm more pissed off at Nancy Grace for not shutting the fuck up about the case.

I was joking lol. I guess that came out too serious lol but why the fuck would I think she didn't do that.

Except the husband part. :p
