Discuss Bowser's role in MP games here.
Bowser, for the most part, is the antagonist in Mario Party games. He frequently seeks to ruin the fun for most of the characters, sometimes for Bowser's intents.
This is what I see Bowser's roles are in each MP:
MP1: Initially, just to annoy you. Once Magma Mountain and Eternal Star are unlocked though, he seeks to make you lose everything (Star-wise in particular).
MP2: Moderately evil. Each alter ego of Bowser is also slightly evil, but forcing you to go to Bowser Land is... really evil.
MP3: Surprisingly, not that evil at all. He annoys you, but doesn't really play any part in the story. He even tells the player to defeat Waluigi for him!
MP4: I think Bowser is moderately evil in this game too. The introduction of Bowser minigames cements his place as an evil character from this MP onward.
MP5: Very evil. He wants to destroy Dream Depot so he could fulfil his dreams of facing a tough foe!
MP6: Moderately evil. He's not involved in the story, but his 'annoyances' are more severe than in MP1-4.
MP7: Very evil. Trying to ruin the Mario crew's world trip because he wasn't invited is pure jealousy. Besides, he's evil; who'd want to invite an evil monster to a party?
MP8: Unsure. He owns a board, wants the Star Rod, throws it away and snatches it again. Bowser's intents aren't clear...
MPA: Yes, MPA has a story with Bowser in it. He's not too evil, since he doesn't own spaces to annoy you, just spaces where you have to play one of his minigames. He's also happy to give you his 'limited-edition' Bowser Print Gaddget.
MPDS: Bowser is kinda evil, but a little undecisive once the crew invite him to party with them. His Bowser Time is very sahallow and not at all intimidating, and neither is his boss battle.
Whew! Now it's your turn to discuss Bowser's role(s).
