Having finished playing through Judgment earlier this week, I decided to revisit the original Gears of War trilogy. Those three games still provide some of the most engaging combat scenarios and memorable set-piece moments in the medium.

Right now, I'm playing Dead Space 3. Much to my surprise, given all of the pre-release buzz that surrounded the game, it still retains the grueling tension and survival-horror vibe of its predecessors. So far, the only real downside is that there is quite a bit of backtracking.

I'm still playing through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In between sessions of that game, though, I've been making my way through the original two Dead Space titles. In preparation for the upcoming third installment, o' course.

I'm more than a bit late at finishing my annual "Zelda-thon," considering that I completed Spirit Tracks, like, three weeks ago. In any case, I've just started another run through Twilight Princess. <3

Along with the ocassional game of Halo 4 multiplayer, I've been playing Lego Lord of the Rings. So far, I'm having a blast; the way in which it lampoons the original film trilogy is freakin' hysterical.

I received Lego Lord of the Rings on Christmas. Many a good time has been had thus far. :P

I'm nearing the end of my annual trip down [Zelda] Memory Lane. Before topping it all off with a run through Twilight Princess, I've decided to revisit Spirit Tracks for the first time in, like, years. Honestly, Link's first adventure in New Hyrule is much more fun than I remember it being...
