I have seen so many people complain about toddlers. I'm new to the series and this will be my first game. I have seen several play throughs of the past installment and let me say that toddlers is not a big loss. Pools, well, it's debatable. The Sims community is intense.
Anyways, I am totally in love with the graphics and I really hope this will be a good way for me to get introduced into the series. Will most likely be a week 1 purchase, (not day 1), since I'll wait for some reviews.

The problem is that they are removing something that should not be removed. You don't cut a life stage out of a life simulator so you can add stupid s*** like dying from laughter. They're removing it because they're lazy s***s; we've seen this before from EA. Removing things to add other things isn't called addition, it's called replacement.DJ Dylan Wow'Brien said:

So who caved and bought it? Wanted to hear some opinions.
I'm obviously waiting for a price drop, not gonna pay it full price that's for sure. It doesn't seem as bad as people make it seem, but for the current price, it's not worth it.
People are really upset that a lot of mechanics and features in previous games have been cut out of this edition. This, coupled with that they didn't send out review copies to major sites like IGN and Gamestop indicate this game was probably rushed and poorly planned out. I'm in the dark with actually seeing gameplay footage and what not until I get my internet sorted out, but I really haven't heard many good things about this game.

I'm still happy with TS3. I'll probably get 4 when everything's fixed (which will probably be 5 years from now when all the expansions are released and all the good stuff is added), but for now, EA ain't getting my money.
Oh EA... it's no wonder you're one of the most hated companies in America. I'll stick to Sims 3.
