Did they really need a second psp? I'm so not getting this

I would not buy it because I don't see a reason to buy another PSP. Built in wifi hmm mhm but plz, come on! In my case, no no PSP2
Yeah that's probaly the only reason their making it. Are they hopping to beat it in sales?

It looks promising, possibly a little too packed (especially the PS3 equiv gfx =P) But the lineup is decent, the change away from UMD is interesting, and having analog sticks + dpad + touch capability could make or break this. Oh, did I mention tilt sensitivity? =P

The main thing I will watch for is (1) marketing, (2) whether they do a Wii and overload games with the gimmicky features. I've never owned a PSP so this could be interesting. (But no backward compat since the UMD is being dropped)

Damn, the PSP2 looks extremely powerful and the sotware lineup is right up to my tastes (More will probably be announced later). Glad they ditched UMDs for the more faster flash-based memory. 3G allows for quick downloads as apposed to slow dowloads over WiFi. Dual analog is nice. OLED screens look sexy. Only thing that may worry me is the price for all this. 
Unless they have some good release games I don't care about this no matter how powerful.
