Welcome to Koopa’s Seaside Soiree! Koopa decided to construct this board out of his lifelong need to escape from the travails of the Mushroom Kingdom. He’s often so intensely busy that he never gets a break, and there isn’t much of a vacation spot for miles. So instead of taking himself to the vacation spot, he ingeniously decided to take the vacation spot to himself! As soon as he had the resort built, he allowed all of Mushroom Kingdom’s stressed inhabitants to come for a place to relax and let their cares evaporate before them in the tropical sun! Koopa has heard about MPI for a long time now, and confronted Staryu to see if his board can be seen, Staryu happily agreed and here we are today, at the tropical resort! Let's meet the players;
Snowy - Returning from MPI5, Koopa's Seaside Soiree is Snowy's favorite board, he hopes to win this time.
Billy - Leader of the Shy Guys, Billy hopes to use his wisdom to triumph the others.
Topper - Newcomer; Topper! This is Topper's first MPI, can he keep up with the experienced Snowy/Billy?
Slacker - Newcomer; Slacker! Host of Mario Party Mafia, can he keep up with the experienced Snowy/Billy?
I'm giving everyone 10 coins! Spend them wisely please! Next, before we begin, pick a Special Item from the list is below. You can only pick one Special Item to take with you, so make sure it's the one you really want. The full list of items/specials are on the bottom if you need to know what they do, OK? OK, let's party!!
Mega Mushroom: Become mega and roll 2 dice blocks! You take 10 coins from anyone you pass, however, you pass events like the item shop, lottery, and the star space.
Mini Mushroom: Become mini and roll a dice block! You can go through mini events like these item games, and those orange pipes. However, you can only move 1-5 spaces.
Super Mega Mushroom: Become mega and roll 3 dice blocks! Same effects as the Mega Mushroom.
Super Mini Mushroom: Become mini and roll 2 dice blocks! Same effects as the Mini Mushroom.
Warp Pipe: Randomly switch with one player on the board
Swap Card: Randomly choose someone and trade ALL your items with there's.
Mini-Mega Hammer: Choose who you use it on, and what the effect will be. You can make the person Mega or Mini.
Chomp Call: Call Chain Chomps to change the star location
Boo's Crystal Ball: Call Boo to steal coins/stars from someone of your choice
Gaddlight: Protects you from Boo.
Sparky Sticker: Put it on a space and if anyone passes it, they will lose 10 coins
Magic Lamp: Call the Mushroom Genie and go to the star
Bowser Suit: Dress up as Bowser and roll a dice block, you take 30 coins from anyone you pass.
Item Bag - Gives you 3 items.
Power of Love: Get 3 coins each space you pass, you're also protected from road blocks.
Power of Beauty: Stun one player of your choice for one turn.
Berry's Light Arrow: Received directly from Berry himself. Aim, and shoot it at one person. They will be forced to go back to the start.
Heart Seed: Put it on a space and let it grow, you will get coins every turn from it, each turn, the coin amount will increase. If someone passes this, they can take some coins from it.
Thunder Cloud: If you get this, you will roll 2 blocks for 3 turns. But once 3 turns are up and you still have this item, you will lose 20 coins. You can give it to someone if you pass them. Also, you can only hold one Thunder Cloud at a time.
Lucky Coin: Created by a very nice kong. Use this and you can go to the lottery and try your luck at winning!
Banana Peel: Throw it on a space, if you or someone else passes it, they will lose 5 coins and spin out.
Heart/Bloom Coach: Makes you roll 2 dice blocks for 3 turns.
Spiny Shell: Hits the leader and they lose 20 coins. If your teammate is the leader, then it'll hit the 2nd leader
Spiny Shell N64: Goes to hit the leading player, the leading player will lose 10 coins from this. Also, it hits anyone in it's path (except your partner)
Lightning: Make every team (except your team) lose 10 coins.
Grudge: If someone tries to hurt you (steal a star, etc.) they will suffer...
Sing: Make everyone (except your partner) go to sleep for one turn.
Hylian Shield: Protects you from ONE item attack
Mushroom: Roll 2 without the "mega" effect
Poison Mushroom: Make someone roll 1-5
Reverse Mushroom: Make someone go backwards
Cellular Shopper: Call the shop owner
Warp Block: Switch without someone you want
Plunder Chest: Take one person's item, and you choose this item
Bowser Phone: Call Bowser's office and he will send a Koopa Kid/Bowser to do something to the person you chose
Dueling Glove: Start a mini-game with a person of your choice
Golden Mushroom: Roll 3 dice blocks without the "Mega" effect.
Boo Bell: Steal Coins/Stars from everyone, the price is tripled, however.
Koopa Kard: Gives you a free pass to play the lottery or to play one of the mini events on the board.
Barter Box: Trade all your items with one person of your choice
Lucky Charm: Takes you to play on a Game Guy Mini-Game
Lag Mushroom: To use on one person, even if they already moved, it will not count till the end of the turn.
Life Mushroom: If you lose all your coins, you will automatically gain 30 coins.
Peach's Glove: Put on Peach's Glove, and take 20 coins from someone! You can keep it or give it to your partner.
Daisy's Glove: Put on Daisy's Glove, and slap someone's ass! They will lose 20 coins and fly to a new space.
Feeling Fine: Recover from any damage that has been done to you (ex: You will get a star back if someone stole it from)
Soft Stomp: Increases the chances of people losing more (ex: You will lose a lot more coins when Boo steals from you)
Bat Candy: Like Mario Party 8, eat this, and you will randomly take coins from 3 people.
Thwomp: Put it on any space and if any one passes it, they will automatically stop and be forced to do that space's effect. You can put it anywhere from 5 spaces in front or behind you.
X5 Bananas: You can throw 5 Bananas, you can throw one on each space, and just like the Banana, anyone who passes it will lose 5 coins. You can throw them up to 10 spaces in front or behind.
Kirby: Copy someone's item, so you can have that item too.
Viatility: Lowers the chance of bad things happening to you (ex: You'll lose less coins when Boo steals from you)
Sunflora: A rare item, Head to the Lucky Route!
Red/Blue/Green Potion: A random effect will happen to you.
Hookshot: Grab someone and bring them over to the space your on. You can also grab your partner.
Din's Fire: A rare item, Seek someone out and make them lose 15 coins
Farore's Wind: A rare item, Teleport to any space on the board, then move.
Nayru's Love: A rare item, Be immune to everything for 3 turns.
Master Sword: A rare item, Cut someone's coins in half
Ocarina: A rare item, Make amazing things happen with this item.
Star Rod: A rare item, Grants one request of yours, you request coins, stars, items, mini-events, it's whatever you want.
Triple Poison Mushroom: 3 Poison Mushrooms! You can use them all one one person, or use a certain amount of a few people. Do whatever!
Slow Mushroom: you get to choose what you want on your dice roll.
Haste Mushroom: Makes the person go first that turn, regardless if someone already moved.
Peachy Mushroom: Makes you gain the "Peachy" status for 3 turns, you will get 3 coins each space you pass.
Coupons: Gives you % off of things.
Freezie: Put on a space and that space will lose it's effect.
Chocolate Donut: A huge donut, but it's too big to eat on your own! Share it with someone, and you both will get 10 coins.
Giant Banana: Put it on a 5 spaces in front/behind you. Whoever passes this will lose 20 coins. After that, the Banana will split into 3 normal Bananas.
Yoshi Egg: Make the closest person lose 10 coins.
Mystery: Who knows what will happen when you use this.
Lynch Vote: Direct from Mario Party Mafia, all of you will send me a PM on your vote; the person who receives the most votes will lose 30 coins. If it's tied, then each person will lose 20 coins.
Wario's Glove: Bet some coins and hope you will receive the jackpot.
Snowy's Pay-Up: Make someone give you 1-30 coins based on a random roulette.
Sunkern: Sunkern will grow into a Sunflora eventually.
Rainbow Star: If you pass someone on the board, you will star them on to an upper platform, and they will lose 30 coins.
Ammo: Ammo for the Slingshot. Shoot it at someone to make them lose 5 coins, choose how much ammo you want to be packed with.
Hover Boots: Roll 2 dice blocks and be protected from traps/etc for one turn.
Heart Container: Gives you 100 coins.
PeachyPeach: Oh look, it's a PeachyPeach! Eat it up! You will receive 10 coins!
Peach Juice: Mmmmm, let's sit down and drink some Peach Juice! You will receive 15 coins!
Peach Tart: Great, some Peach Tart! Just like a cake! You will receive 20 coins!
Peach Milk: Peach Milk? Mmmm, tasty! You will receive 25 coins!
Fire Candy: For 3 turns, if you pass anyone, they will lose 10 coins.
Pipe Destroyer Candy: Eat this and a Hammer will appear in your hands, smash one mini pipe so you can go through.
Mr. Blizzard Candy: Turn into Mr. Blizzard, and make someone lose all their items.
Bullet Bill Candy: Transform into a Bullet Bill, it will take you on a ride near the star, anyone in the way will lose 20 coins.
Pink Boo Candy: Eat this, and you will be able to pass the bridges anytime (BOO'S HAUNTED BASH ONLY)
Battle Candy: Call Goomba, he will drop the bomb so you can play a Battle Mini-Game, you can choose how much coins will be bet.
Hidden Block Candy: Use this to give you a HIDDEN BLOCK.
Hatsune Miku Candy: Eat this and Hatsune Miku will come so you and her can jam it up, you will get a random amount of coins from 1-100 depending how well you do.
Slingshot: Special Item, use it to hit people with Deku Nuts. Each Deku nut makes the target lose 5 coins, when you buy this, you come packed with 10 Deku Nuts. Feel free to hit whoever with them.
Daily Treasure Candy: Special, you get something small every turn.
MyUkiki Candy: Be able to choose the direction you go at Ukiki's Banana Junction (KOOPA'S SEASIDE SOIREE ONLY)
Item Hog: You will randomly get some juicy items.
Refund: Gives you some coins back when you use items.
Double Dip: Allows you to use 2 items every turn.
