When I set out to create this map I intended it to be insanity and unfair. It turned out to be extremely competitive and well balanced. After 3 50-turn games, me and another veteran say it's really good. Damn good. Lots of decisions to make, lots of ways to get ahead, tons of fun. This is a classic map with no custom events or content.
What is a competitive board? Basically, it's very hard to get *extremely* randomly set back. This map rewards turns that are planned out and coordinated moves. Luck factors in to this competitive map, but it's up to you to play it out correctly. The map does not favor who is doing well or who is doing poorly.
The only issue is the COM characters sometimes seem to get lost at intersections. Don't expect them to reliably be good players.
