Worst newcomer in Mario Kart 7

My vote would be either Metal Mario or Honey Queen. But I prefer Honey Queen because she it too big to fit in karts much like Wiggler, and the developers just added those type of characters to complete the roster.

Nintendo was dull not to add the returning characters, i.e. Birdo, Toadette, etc.

Lakitu because he sounds like Elmo and is so annoying...

I agree. I honestly find his voice irritating and he gets used a lot, that could be his popularity but I don't know about that, I think it's his feather weight stats. I prefer his non-playable role better in the Mario Kart games.
