Week 1 Event- Posting Challenge

To kick off the inaugural season of the Parties of MPL, we will have a posting contest. Simple rules, whichever team combines to make the most posts (that count, so this does not include boards such as Forum Games) wins. At 12:00 PM EST tonight, we will tally everyone's post counts and then the competition will begin.


With the high stakes of this contest, the points will be doubled for this first event, making the points awarded be:
1st place team- 6 points
2nd- 4 points
3rd- 2 points

But seriously this was something I was going to complain to H-J about weeks ago (already did to Cook but he was a worthless GMod then) but anybody else see a problem here since there are more boards that don't count posts? I mean, I get the Forum games and whatever, I been that Admin for a long time, but I just see shit outta wack here.

I agree with you, HuntMac. I think that both Blogs and Activities Central should allow post count.

No for Activities Central, there are only games in there or almost.

And for blogs, well sometimes there are spammy topics in people's blog...

The reason I dont like the idea of blogs is some topics like a daily diary thing which is like post pumping galore for people like vip.

Except it only helps the total amount of posts in the board, and the overall forum post count. How else would I be post-pumping if blogs don't count posts to your post count?

Blogs have spammy topics sometimes (I believe there's a topic in Ether's blog) and like Cook said with the Daily Entry thing, VIP might post pump with it.

Activities would be fine if we got more quality and original stuff in there.

I have my own Daily blog topic (in different months) and I only post in them once per day at most, usually. And now others have their own daily entry topics. Don't see what the problem is here. The daily entries is part of having blogs and stuff.

Yeah... I agree with Cook. Even though I'm not in it, it'd be cheap if people were post-pumping in the blogs and activities central. Activities is just forum games and blogs are for sharing experiences and stuff.
