Wario Shipyard

Wario Shipyard (PAL Wario's Galleon) is the second track of the Star Cup. This track starts with a turn into an underwater section with a ramp leading into another underwater section. Then there are sets of ramps with coins. Then there are pipes with water currents and coins, with one at the end raising karts up. There is a shortcut through the sand. After that is a split path, though the route closest to the shortcut is faster. After another ramp into an underwater section there is a glider ramp leading to coins. The track ends with a ramp before the finish line.

If you've seen my Top 32 MK7 Tracks list, you know I much I love this track. It has creative designs and great track layout along with good music, and absolutely no glitches discovered here. Also, the world record for this track uses a lightweight on the Egg 1/Wood/lightweight glider!

Wario Shipyard wasn't too bad. It's a little hard to control your kart when you are not on the ground underwater. The only slight problem here are the swinging pendulums that might get in your way.

Really? I frequently use that combination, with Yoshi, but I never realized the world record used that combination.

Egg1 and Wood wheels are the best thing to use for an underwater scenario with a lightweight character - those things go amazingly fast there.

My combination goes fast through all locations, so I don't typically use this combination myself, though. :p
I have tried it, though, and it's true.

This is one of my favorite Mario Kart 7 tracks. I thought it was really creative and I love the underwater courses. Wario got a course that isn't really like his other past courses, which is cool. I don't mind the hazards such as the pendulum in this course either.

In never knew the world record for this course used the Egg 1 and Wood Wheels, that's my favorite kart combination. I never really noticed the "hidden" underwater stat, so I guess that's another reason to love this course ;D
