The network is hoping to release a part of the Toonami block schedule this Saturday on Adult Swim's regular Saturday anime block, so be sure to tune in.

Oooh, that's great. Toonami fits in a LOT better for the Saturday Night Anime shown on Adult Swim than the weird stuff they put as the theme for anime. I wonder if the schedule will change? I'm pretty sure Bleach will still air new dubbed episodes each Saturday, but maybe air other older Anime like Yu Yu Hakusho. Big O? DBZ?

Know what time it's airing?

The network is thinking of replacing the regular Saturday Adult Swim anime block with the revived Toonami block. They'll probably show it even earlier since it has a wide array of anime for both kids and teenagers.

CN confirms that Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and the 1963 version of Astro Boy are definitely programs to be featured on the block.

To bad I wouldn't watch any of these anime. Shame to. :/

Well, most Toonami fans expected the first 3 to be featured (since Bleach and FN: Brotherhood are still ongoing and Cowboy Bebop is like the number one anime in the fan community), but don't give up hope! There are more shows to be announced, hopefully over the weekend.

Their ultimate goal is to bring back the Toonami era that was filled with both American action shows like Batman and Samurai Jack and anime like Dragonball Z but they are also now trying to get more Adult Swim anime coverage into the mix. They did show Sailor Moon and Yu Yu Hakusho when Toonami first aired so it's a definite possibility.

I hope they come back. Those two anime (and Power Rangers) defined my childhood. Samurai Jack was amazing, but with the TOONAMI I think Teen Titans would be a better fit.

It's Saturday!! Hopefully a statement will be released tonight during the late night anime block.

You can still go on Adult Swim's website and see if they announce anything tonight. If they don't, they most likely will drop something in the next week or so before the premiere. And Toonami Jetstream might be a possibility, although it might just become another section on Adult Swim's streaming site.

Most likely and if they do that I wonder if it would have anime not on Toonami like the old one did. A streaming site would be the only way for me to watch the anime that appear on Toonami.  We just have to wait and see how things roll out.
