Players stand on the hour hand. They have to dodge the minute hand by jumping over it. That player, who isn't knocked off by the minute hand wins. The game ends in a draw, if both players are knocked off at the same time or if both players manage to jump over the hands 99 times.

This is probably my all-time favorite Duel-game, it's a lot of fun. It's very stressful, but it's still very fun. In my opinion, it's lot better than Hot Rope Jump, probably because it has lot more elements and mechanics that makes it great minigame.

This is my 3rd favorite Minigame in Mario Party 3 (after Snowball Summit and Locked Out) and my only complain about this minigame is that it's a Duel-game, so only 2 players can play it.

Has anyone managed to jump over the hands 99 times? I haven't. Most what I've gotten in this game is about 75 jumps.

I've jumped over it about 50-something times max because the person (more specifically, the computer player) I've been playing with can't keep up with me.

I need someone like you to help me see how many I could do overall in here. :p

I use two controllers to do so lol

I didn't even know it was possible for the minigame to end by jumping 99 times. My guess is it was in the case that, for whatever reason, the two players would be playing the minigame for so long trying to survive against each other that if there is no time limit on the minigame, they would have to limit the maxmimum minigame length in some way such that the game will continue without dragging on, which is considerate of the multiplayer aspect in which the two players not participating won't become tired of the minigame going on endlessly.

Wait, with a computer over 40 times or so? I don't think that's ever possible, or at least, never experienced for me. Because from what I read, your computer opponent automatically fails after 31 jumps on Hard and 43 jumps on Super Hard.

The mini-game overall is fun, but getting to a high amount would be insanely difficult. I wonder if the The Runaway Guys could pull that off lol.

Wait, a CPU is limited to 43 jumps max? What's it with mine being so good at this game then? Programing error, maybe (Doubtful)?
Well, I still beat them anyhow, so it doesn't matter, I guess. :p
Makes it more interesting if anything.
