Super Mario 3D Land 2

Does this game even need a 2? I would rather see a brand new Mario adventure than a continuation of another game.

Like everyone else said, there really doesn't need to be a sequel, especially this early. Considering the fact that like what happened to galaxy, it didn't feel like another game, but a long add-on instead. When galaxy was first announced everyone was excited, and that should be implemented again, a new idea for new reason to play the game.

I'll be honest when I say that I did enjoy SM3DL (I actually found it more appalling than SMG2 surprisingly enough). However, I do agree that a sequel to this game this early isn't that much of an anticipation to me. Like the others, I want Nintendo to start freshening up the Mario series once again.
Remember how different each Mario game played before Galaxy was given a sequel or when the NSMB series continually received installments? The unexpected Super Mario games are what I want to see again and not a repetition of Mario's remade first adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom. I honestly would rather see a rehash or sequel of SMB2 or SMS if anything.
