One of my favorite horror writers and one of my influences on writing. He's written such books as "The Shining", "Carrie", "It", et cetera.

I've been getting a lot recommendations for Stephen King but I don't know which book to read. I'm looking for something easy to read and something that best shows off his style of writing.

I've read a few of his books- Tommyknockers, Under the Dome, Different Seasons collection- Apt Pupil, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, The Body, The Breathing Method.

As of yesterday- I just started The Green Mile, which is really amazing so far. I'm only on part two though. But I do love his work
