Family Guy because South Park is just a huge "let's bash everything possible" instead of Family Guy where there are fine lines and an actual storyline behind it.

I have watched them, I just don't very often. I only watch if they're on by coincidence. I watched both shows around 5 times each. :p
 
They're not even comparable. Family Guy was good before "the switch" (despite what 'cool' people like Snowy say). I think people forget Family Guy's been around since 1999 and it was actually a legitimate cartoon comedy with a normal Dad that's just ignorant and blah blah. Now it's just Peter being a complete retard, Stewie being completely Gay (no evil plots anymore), Meg being just there for no reason anymore other than the occasional "stfu Meg" joke, Chris seems kind of the same to me (since he was the originally a "dumb" character), Brian more extreme on Political views (which is whatever), and Lois just putting up with it all.

But it wasn't even comparable from the start because South Park is satirical and sociological comedy, and because of that the plots are deeper and mostly contain making a large metaphor out of something small (so even if you don't get what they're poking fun at, like if you were 9 or something :p, then you would at least still find the show funny for what was going on, even though you don't get the bigger picture).

Cause I know people blow up about how Family Guy is really good (though there's a lot of people who just say it cause its the wave) and stuff and like honestly it has its good moments but I just love South Park. Like they're later episodes are better than these new Family Guy stuff...mostly.
 
I have watched both a little and I would say Family Guy, both good.

I like South Park because of the " Oh my God, they killed Kinney "

I like Family Giy because of Stewie :p
 
Family Guy. Because I can tolerate it more, and because the storyline is more flexible, and has a shorter attention span.

South Park is more of a bad ass show, I like that. And because they are not afraid to speak their mind, or make fun of anything. They have a I don't Give a F*** attitude towards expressing their opinions. I especially gained their respect when they exposed the truth to Disney channel and their
"actors" and "singers". But after a while, South Park can get a bit annoying, and boring..
 
My cousin like family guy and I like both so I do love those two cartoons even though I have them on my dvr
