Seinfeld

Seinfeld is quite possibly one of the best sitcoms ever made. I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon with the millions of fans out there, but I strongly believe that it was, and still is, the only unique sitcom series that actually applied situation humor and made it glamorous. The most minor of things like waiting in line to go to the movies or participating in a "contest" sounds pretty boring, but get the epic writing of Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David in there and they automatically become very funny situations.

Ironically, I absolutely disliked Season 9 (the last season) because the episode's plots were getting way too unrealistic, which is why I thought of the show as genius, because the original premise was to take everyday life and make it into a funny series of situations. But, as the series went on, the plots kept on getting too much of a "cartoony" kind of look and kind of took away the sense of the original point the show tried to make.

Despite all that, I still think that this show deserves the #1 spot for best sitcom.

Pffft, you disappoint, Son. I was expecting a larger wall! :D

As for me, Seinfeld came on at 9 o'clock every night (back when they had new episodes? OMG!?!?) and that was my bedtime so whenever that show came on I "hated" it because that means I had to go to bed. "Whoop, Seinfeld's on. Time to go to bed, Hunter." Had to turn off my green Gameboy Color and shit >=[

So I only actually "watched" the first 10 minutes of every episode if I was lucky :p But I was never paying attention anyway. I think I've only seen about 10 complete episodes (that very well could be a larger amount, but I'm not looking to check off which episodes I've actually seen).
