What a way to end a Nintendo Direct! Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is getting a really beautiful remake that, from what we've seen in the trailer, remains very faithful to the original. For Switch sometime in 2024!

The internet is still recovering from the shock of this event. It has caused quite the disturbance and thousands are out cold still. 
But in all seriousness, never thought this would ever happen in my life. They returned to the classic formula in probably the best way for everyone to know why we loved it so much. My only issue is why it is not coming out soon, I need this NOW.

It's hard to believe but they're finally not too cowardly to give us proper Mario RPG games again, haha! It works great for me as I've never played SMRPG or TTYD so now I get to experience both for the first time.
I was not expecting this, so I'm thrilled they're remaking it. I'm still sour about Miyamoto's feedback that forever changed Paper Mario 3DS and onward. Here's hoping that the game does well and makes Nintendo rethink their plans for future PM entries.
