It's a game about exploration and traveling to the center of the galaxy in a universe that is entirely procedurally generated (the same way Minecraft worlds are) with over 18 quintillion planets to explore. Looks lovely, but I'd prefer it to be much more multiplayer friendly - it's basically a single player game. Not to mention MMOs, my favorite genre - some very pro journalists were describing NMS as an MMO back in the day, which had me hyped.
