Is there any reason for it to be separate from the general mario party discussion board? it's no longer a new game and there hasn't been a post in it for months...

It's still the newest Mario Party game. The game is not even a year old. But I imagine it may go soon. The main reason that it is separate from the general Mario Party board is that it allows to keep all discussion pertaining to Mario Party 10 in that board only. If it was cluttered with the general board, then it would be a slight mess in there.
