Is the paid DLC worth it?

I've completed the game for a time, and I can't obviously re-play levels from the main game or Spot-Pass other than the final one, but I know the DLC does.
Just one question - is it worth the price?

$2.50 doesn't really sound like it for a map (neither does $6.00 for 3), especially when I played the free one over for some time, but I heard that some of the DLC have high difficulties, and can offer some items you can't normally obtain otherwise. Is this actually worth it, though, or should I just save my money for other games?

It really depends. However, there will likely be a lot more DLC for this game in the coming weeks, and all that DLC could go up to like more than $60. Not kidding. $60 of extra content for one game sounds a lot, but remember that for those that bought the game alone, that was $40. That's literally over $100 if you buy everything that the game will offer. I would suggest waiting for a map or pack to get a price drop or entirely free to purchase it. Over $100 in content combined with the retail game could offer a lot of re-playability, but that's a lot of money you put into and could have used it on another, new game or for personal stuff.

In the end, I would really wait until it becomes free and/or gets a price drop. If there's an item that you really want, and that it might be limited (not saying it would), then go for it, but try not to be greedy with it.

I just think they priced the maps and packs a little too high.

I actually got some of the DLC a long time ago, so my question there isn't really important now. :p
...of course, if anyone out there is thinking of getting the DLC, I'd say go for it.

The earlier ones released aren't so interesting (just gives extra skills and items, yes), but the later packs have some good value.
Not only are some tougher than most of the areas in the regular game (I'm still trying apotheosis, mind you (oh, and no Limit Breaker, as I don't have the DLC for that...), but then there are other packs that feature other things, like maybe a mini-story amongst a few, or just some conversations that can be funny to see (and because of how they have the general game set-up with your custom avatar and children characters, you get a unique experience out of those as well).

...basically, go for the DLC if you have the money. :p
