I'm Batman's Top 10 Batman Villains

Batman has quite a lot of villains but who does I'm Batman love?

10.

Killer Croc

Waylon Jones AKA Killer Croc was born with a rare mutation that made his skin green and scaly and his body grow to huge proportions. He has a low intelligence but what he lacks in brains he makes up for in strength with animalistic super strength. He ranks as number 10 for being a different villain that shys away from an ordinary mobster.

9.
Two-Face

9702_400x600.jpg

Harvey Dent AKA Two-Face was a kind-hearted attorney and one of Batman's strongest allies as well as a friend of Bruce Wayne's until Sal Maroni threw acid in his face hideously scarring him and fracturing his mind causing him to become Two-Face, a stylized criminal master-mind obsessed with the number two and taking a special care for his 'good luck charm' a 'two headed' coin with one side scarred and one side ordinary reflecting himself. He ranks as number 9 for being a interesting character with an interesting obsession being fixated on the number two and duality as well as being one of Bruce's lost friends and a missed chance for Gotham to returning to a grand city.

8.
Hush

225px-Hushx.jpg

Th newest villain on this list, Dr Tommy Elliot AKA Hush is a brilliant surgeon turned villain. He becomes a costumed criminal who targets Batman and Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne and Tommy Elliot were childhood friends and unbeknownst to Bruce, dark reflections of each other. A childhood sociopath, Elliot tried to kill his parents so he could inherit their fortune. When is plan failed partly due to the surgical skills of Thomas Wayne, Bruce's dad, Elliot blamed Bruce. He covers his face in bandages to hide his identity (sometimes to cover his face after he cut it off). He ranks as number 8 for being another one of Bruce's lost friends who fell pray to criminal activity. He has a solemn hatred towards both Bruce and Batman and his surgical skills make him able to cut off his own face and stitch parts of other people's faces onto his (see Batman Arkham City) makes him incredibly amazing and twisted

Ra's Al Ghul/Tahlia Al Ghul

ra__s_al_ghul.jpg

I put these two together seeing as their basically one villain (this will talk more about Ra's). Little is know about the early years of the nearly immortal Ra's Al Ghul, but it is accepted that he has lived for centuries due to the Lazarus Pits' mysterious brews that restore youth. Ra's Al Ghul's goal is to save the Earth of ecological devastation by destroying most of the population. Ra's considers Batman as a worthy foe as well as being his successor to save the planet. However Batman cannot agree to kill most of the Earth's population to rid Earth of crime. Batman also shares a love-hate relationship with Ra's daughter, Tahlia, with whom Batman has a baby with. Ra's Al Ghul's name translates to 'The Demon's Head'. He ranks as number 7 for being a character with a simple gimmick which is used in a amazing way. We all can agree with Ra's quest to save the planet minus the death toll. It's also interesting to think that he only lives because of Batman not accepting Ra's crusade

6.

The Riddler

434_riddler_15.jpg

Edward Nygma AKA The Riddler is obsessed with riddles, puzzles and word games. Once fleeing his crimes The Riddler he leaves a clue at his previous crime that hints towards his next crime, allowing Batman to know Riddlers next crime before it has happened and always trying to prove he's the smartest who can even trick Batman but ultimately fails. He wears a purple domino mask with a green, question mark covered costume, either as a skintight cat suit or a bussiness suit and bowler hat and his special question mark shaped cane. He ranks as number 6 for being a creative character who, like Two-Face, has a interesting obsession and can't possibly leave a crime without one of his riddles.

5.

Clayface

220px-Clayface.jpg

Basilo Karlo AKA Clayface (first of eight Clayfaces) is an actor who was driven mad when he heard of a re-make of the classic film which he stared in, The Terror. Adopting the persona of the film's villain, Clayface, he became a serial killer targeting the cast and crew. Later Basil Karlo would imbue with the powers of Clayface and be transformed into a full clay being. Additionally, his body sports crystals similar to quartz that endow him with greater powers. He ranks as number 5 for being a surreal character with the powers of shape-shifting and a interesting backstory. The Batman: The Animated Series, Matt Hagen is my favourite version of Clayface

4.

Mad Hatter

Mad_hatter.jpg

Jervis Tetch AKA Mad Hatter was obsessed with Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. Jervis was a skilled research scientist who believed he was the incarnation of the character, Mad Hatter. Using his hypnotic skills for mesmerism, Jervis Tetch as the Mad Hatter has committed many crimes, often the book that inspired him and his love for hats and headgear going as far to plant his hats with mind control cards to amplify his hypnosis skills. Above all head gear, he covets Batman's distinctive cowl and will stop at nothing to acquire it. He regularly kidnaps woman he finds attractive naming them, Alice however ends up killing them instead of expressing his love for them. He ranks as number 4 for being a creative character being based of Alice In Wonderland with a much darker tone and mind control as well as kidnapping his 'Alice' and brutally killing them and he has god damn mind control powers!

3.

The Joker

250px-Manwholaughs.jpg

Ooooo. You thought he'd be one. The Joker's real name isn't known however he has a number of aliases the most commonly known being Jack Napier. The Joker is the arch-enemy of Batman and originally was going to die in the first comic he appeared . Joker has caused numerous tragedies in Batman's life including Barbara Gordon's (1st Batgirl) paralysis and the death of Jason Todd (the second Robin). Joker became what he is when he first was the Red Hood. Batman and Red Hood were in Ace Chemicals. In the end Red Hood fell into a bat of chemicals giving him green hair, pale skin and a bizarre grin (also possibly the enormous chin he has as well). He ranks as number 3 for being the true definition of insanity and Batman's arch-villain. Do I really even need to explain this?

But who could possibly beat Joker? You'll just have to wait and find out.

2.

Scarecrow

BAA_Scarecrow1_cutout_by_Crank.png

AGHHH! Dr. Jonathan Crane AKA Scarecrow was bullied and taunted from youth getting called such nicknames like 'Ichabod' from The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. He is based off the character Ichbod Crane from the story. Jonathan Crane worked on fears and phobias and even researched on human subjects until the university found out he was kicked out. Jonathan became the Scarecrow and armed himself with a fear-inducing gas that bought someone's biggest fear to life in their hallucination. He ranks as number 2 for being a incredibly scary character with gas that can bring someone's biggest fear to life in their mind. He mostly does it for pleasure as he enjoys watching someone's mind break. You have to admit that's pretty awesome.

So were down to number 1. Who is it? Well you'll find out soon but I'll tell you that he or she always swaps with Scarecrow for top spot because I love them both.

Mr Freeze

Victor Fries AKA Mr Freeze was an accomplished scientist until a fateful accident occurred in his research lab. A brilliant cryogenicist whose beloved wife, Nora, was stricken with a fatal degenerative disease. Victor searched for a cure but was running out of time and had no choice but to place his wife, Nora into suspended animation allowing infinite time for Victor to find a cure. However the corporation funding Victor's research, GothCorp, found the Victor was using the companies money on his wife. They pulled the plug and Victor fought to keep her in the machine but failed and ended covered in chemicals. The chemicals transformed Victor's body into a cold blooded form that must always be kept under sub-zero temperatures other whys he would die. He wears a protective cryogenic suit and wields numerous freezing guns in his quest to save his wife which he has come close to on occasion however Batman interrupted and stopped the process. He ranks as number 1 for being an amazing character with a rich backstory who could be reunited with his wife living in happiness if it wasn't for Batman. And yes, I drew the picture ;D

Now that my top 10 list is done why not say your favourite Batman villain or top 10 favourite Batman villains.
