Dk or Wario because I never liked Wario much and DK was a better helper in the other Mario Party games.
I would kick out DK because I do not like him as a playable character. I would vote for DK.
I would kick wario and add toadette
DK or Peach. The SM64DS cast plus Waluigi was all I needed.
I'm going to be honest.
Like (pretty much) everyone else, I dislike Wario and Donkey Kong, but I would rather kick Donkey Kong off the roster.
Other than the fact that I don't like him (or any simian for that matter) he really proved to be problematic in the jump to the GCN era. His actual size was too big compared to all the other character models. He would have been too huge on the board, let alone the mini-games! They managed to use him in MP4, but he must have been shrunk down a little in order for it to work out.
Wario is a staple to Mario spin-offs. As much as I don't care about him, he is basically a regular for spin-off titles.
Same for characters such as Peach. You just can't kick them off in games like this, no matter how bland they are (reason I promote the inclusion of oddball characters such as Dry Bones, Blooper, and Magikoopa).
I know I do use Wario and Donkey Kong a lot as CPU players when playing the N64 games. Mainly because they were Mario villains at one point, and I guess that is somewhat fitting.
But a still find Donkey Kong rather unfitting for the rest of the series.
I'd say Toad replaced him. As they sort of made a role reversal, where Donkey Kong was playable became a helper, while Toad was a helper that became a playable character. This is especially true if you look at MPDS, which uses MP3's roster, except it has Toad instead of Donkey Kong.

All the people saying Toadette and Waluigi, they didn't exist back then in 1999, so that really wouldn't work out, I think what he person means is a character that existed back then. =P

I see so much DK hate and makes me wonder who is hated more DK or Toadette, but I do not care because they are just opinions anyways. If i had to kick one of the original six, I guess it would be yoshi because back then i use to view him as Mario pet and nothing else and plus he is way too overated and i hate all overated characters 8)
If i could one of the original six, it'd be “Wario” cause he's fat, and he's hard to control in the old ones” and i'd replace him with koopa troopa cause koopa troopa is awesome!

If I had to kick out one of the original six, It would be either Wario or Donkey Kong. Kinda expected and I have nothing against them at all, I find them them to be enjoyable but I can't see myself kicking out the Mario Brothers, Peach, and especially Yoshi. Mario is absolutely out of the question because its Mario Party.
I would replace DK or Wario with Princess Daisy. It would just mean she would be a Mario Party regular two games earlier and the kicked out would debut in Mario Party 3. Daisy is one of my favorites anyways. The first few games or even the entire series would be different if someone else like Toad or Kamek were playable instead but I kinda want to see what that would be like.

Replace Peach with Toad, since she's annoying and her AI cheats.
This is a difficult one but I would have to say DK as much as I like all the characters there as well as DK, DK just falls a bit short. My opinions on the others are...

Luigi: The loveable Luigi being kicked out? Don't think so mate.
Yoshi: Massive character in the series.
