Don't be nervous. I know it's easier said than done but if you just stay calm and cool you'll make friends easily and won't have much problems.
I was sorta nervous going into high school but after 2 weeks or so it was like "this place aint as bad as i thought it was"

Avoid drama.
Join a club like Friendship Circle, and get very social with your peers.
Don't do anything to give people a reason to dislike you. Keep your friends close and casually ignore/avoid your enemies. If you have hobbies that people might make fun of, keep them to yourselves (Like yugioh, anime, Pokemon, etc)
