Games You Can't Beat

You ever had that one game you just can't beat? Did u even lower the difficulty level so that you can finish it? well I have one and its call Street Of Rage 3, my cousin and I for some reason we just can't beat this game. we even lower the difficulty to normal cuz we are convinced that this game cant be beaten on hard and we still cant be this game. Never in my gaming career I have never felt so hopeless when completing a game but this game kills my motivation, I seriously think sega made this game with the goal of never letting the player be successful cuz this is ridiculous that I cant beat this game. I know I don't suck because I beat plenty of games with harder complexities so that out of the question ;p

I haven't ever beaten FFXIII since I need to grind so much XP I get turned off of it. It's a shame because I'm right by the final boss. Tales of Vesperia is just so long so I never beat it either. I'm at like.... 26 hours in and I just got the achievement for hitting the half way point. There's a few other games that I haven't beat since I get bored of them right at the end.

I remember not being able to beat Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. The final boss is hard and I don't think I really ever reached him as I gave up one of the admins(?). It's not everyday that a Pokemon game is hard and this is probably why XD and Colosseum are sometimes preferred over the typical Pokemon games on the portable consoles.
Another game I gave up on but still LOVED, was Donkey Kong Country Returns. It's really challenging and I should probably go back to it and completely finish it. If I ever have the patience to restart some levels a thousand times.

A few, but I usually kill myself trying to 100% everything due to my OCD.

One game is the first Hyperdimension Neptunia, because of the "Obtain All Goddesses" trophy. My copy of the game is glitched beyond belief and the Goddesses won't appear in any continent even when I did all the missions and raised all the land stocks to around 50%. I even tried resetting the process by doing "New Game++" but I only ended up with Compa's ultimate weapon. I have no idea how to make them appear but apparently other players have the same problem. The other sequels, while extremely tedious to 100% aren't glitched so much easier to complete.

Another is FFXIII. I'm still trying to complete all the Cie'th Stone Missions and I'm sort of disappointed that the majority of them are pretty much the same concept. It made it really boring to constantly go back and forth with Chocobos only to reach my mark and it's like a low-level Orca or something. The only missions that gave me problems was the Giant Cactuar and the Adamantoise but that's really it.

My lord. I feel bad that you spent all that time on a Neptunia game :-X

Well, Neptunia is one of my favorite series. I'm just glad I played HDN2 and Rebirth, because the first game was pretty bad. But I loved the storyline and the writing is hilariously done right to appeal to otaku and gamers alike. :3 That's mostly the reason I stuck on through, and they just keep getting better and better!

I like the core concept, which is probably why it's so frustrating that they haven't made a good/great game yet and probably never will.

The latest one on PS4 was beyond a bummer. Same old problems creeping up with no desire to evolve gameplay wise.

I thought Victory was one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I also thought HDN5 was pretty good too.

Guess I'm just a mega fan. :3

I do think that the Daredevil version of the Grandmaster Galaxy in SMG2 is extremely annoying, but I beat it.

Honestly, I wish more Mario games were like that. I really love challenging platforming games especially Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden.

It took me like 10 years to beat Diddy Kong Racing if that counts...I mean I did start playing it when I was 5 but it's still pretty lame lol.

It also took me 3 years or so to figure out how to beat Klungo in Banjo Tooie...like the Spiral Mountain version. He was a tough one...
It took me a long while to beat Diddy Kong Racing too, but it was all because of Wizpig. The first race, that is.

Which potion did he choose in that Spiral Mountain version if you remember? He had the red potion which makes him huge, the green potion which makes him invisible, or the blue potion which makes clones of himself.

Most of the games were easy like ImpaDude says, but I remember that in Pokémon Snap, I could never hit the switch at the end of the Valley level. Knocking Mankey down with bowling by using Squirtle and then hitting Mankey to have it activate the switch was not fun.
