The download migration is complete! We’ve amassed hundreds of custom board and event downloads over the years, and I’m thrilled to say I've finally finished transferring over 400 downloads from the the old forum to the new forum. With everything set in place, I enabled new download submissions, same with the ability to edit your previous downloads. Remember to keep in mind that I will still have to approve all new downloads and updates before they go live.
Although our database has a modern and sleek look for the download pages, not all the formatting from the old forum translated perfectly. Especially if you used spoiler tags in your previous download! For anyone that’s submitted a download before, please consider going back through your old downloads and giving them a look. There’s bound to be something to fix.
Also important to note is that not all previous downloads made the jump to the new forum. Based on our newest submission requirements, what we accept into the database requires a little more effort than what we've allowed in the past. Because of this, we'll keep the old forum open until Sunday, October 15 at 11:59 p.m. PDT so that you can grab any downloads or content that didn't make it over. Once the deadline hits, those downloads will be removed alongside the old forum software.
You might be wondering where the music downloads are at. I'm still trying to figure out how to best present music downloads in our database, including how to provide some kind of audio preview within the download page. For now, the category is disabled. Once we have it back up, creators will have to reupload any older music downloads (with the new requirements) if they want it back in the database.
...and I think that's it. If there is any weirdness with the submission process or things out of place, please let me know!
