Darkrai (Japanese: ダークライ Darkrai) is a Dark-type legendary Pokémon.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
It was first officially revealed in February 2007.
It is a member of the lunar duo with Cresselia.
Darkrai is my second-favorite Pokemon. It's a shadow-like being capable of giving nightmares to anyone that comes in contact with its Dark Void. Being very powerful with a BST of 600 (135 of that being Special Attack, the highest of all Dark-types), its signature ability Bad Dreams, and moves like its signature move, Dark Void, as well as Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Nasty Plot, Substitute, Trick, and Thunder Wave, it can punch holes in teams. However, the main reason while I like Darkrai is its role in The Rise of Darkrai. If you've seen my Top 100 Favorite Pokemon list, you'll know the detail. Its death is one emotional moment in Pokemon history.
