Balloon Burst (Mario Party 1)

Balloon Burst is a Mini-Game where Players attempt to pump the air into the Bowser Balloon using the pump in front of them within the time limit of thirty seconds. To pump the air properly, the players have to know how the pump reacts to the player's actions. If the pump flashes, the player should quickly pump it down until the pump turns bloated red, then pull up the pump.

The players can tell how much air they sent to their own balloon by size and when the Bowser Balloon lifts itself up with enough air. When they are large enough, the balloon's face will start to react into the air being pumped inside; hinting the player that their balloon is going to explode.

The first player who bursts the Bowser Balloon wins!


This is one of my favorite Mini-Games in Mario Party 1, it's fun trying to blow the balloon up, and it's hilarious how it freaks the players out when the balloon blows up, when I first played this minigame, and blew it up I was all freaked out.

I use to SUCK at this mini-game, I could never even catch up with the CPUs. But now adays, things turned around. I could win this easily, even with Hard CPUs. 8) Let me just say that doing it super quick won't make you win.

It took me a couple of tries to figure out what to do. I never used A-B to inflate tha balloon, it was all A-Z for me. It's not a hard minigame, but I'd win almost every time, my friends were good at this minigame as well.

This too. Most of us find it easier to do A-Z than A-B.

I first couple times I played this I would just spam the A button and wondered why mine was going to slow lol then I realized what you were actually suposed to do and I won most of the time.
